I have taken a bit of break from my blogging, but in this break I've also had a chance to choose projects near and dear to my heart. I always believe that in community we have a healthy world, and by helping each other out, each member of our community benefits. That is why I like to support events whose proceeds go to charity and to helping others. This skin by Lumae is being sold at The Lexi Project fundraiser, which runs from July 26th and runs through August 6th. The fundraiser is to aid Lexi Zelin who is the owner of AngelRed Couture. She has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma.. this event is to help raise funds for her to go towards her medical bills and expenses as she is unable to currently work.
Lexi has played an important role in Second Life over the years as she has been the creator of both high quality full permission system templates and mesh templates for people to use for their own creations and has enabled many designers to open their own store.
Lumae has released her new skin, Fae, and she is donating this brand new release to the cause. It will be available in all 8 tones with all the regular features included and all the head, mouth and body appliers that Lumae currently makes.
The skin will be 50% discount for the event with 100% of the proceeds raised going to The Lexi Project fundraiser.
