I was sad to hear that one of my dearest friends who is owner of [QE]Designs decided to close her shop, but I understood her reasons. So, needless to say, I was tickled pink to hear that she was still designing for events, and she was gracious enough to give me this colorful and pretty sweater and jeans to preview, which is out now at The Big Show :)   Emms has always had an eye for color, and she doesn't  shy away from it, whether in her photos or her designs. I've always been able to count on her stuff for the awesome pinks and blues and purples, and the sweet and sexy mix I love.  One little detail I loved was that she did a cuff for the jeans, so that when you use them as appliers, whether its on a mesh bum or a mesh body, you can finish them with the cuff, which just looks so finished and helps cover up the seam between the end of the leg and the beginning of the feet. I know its a little thing but I wish more designers did include them.. I just think it...

Since we are celebrating Thanksgiving here in the US, it twas fitting that I do a post on being thankful and appreciating the things you have. I am lucky that I blog for some really lovely creators who put a lot of effort into their work. I am grateful that I am able to use my platform of doing pictures in SL to not only show their work, but also express my own creativity. I've always said, with out the creations, the clothes, the hair, the skins, the shoes, etc, etc.. my avatar would be not much to look at. SL is an amazing platform for creativity, but also for bullies and bad manners, and for taking for granted others and what work they do. Cyberspace,  I think, sometimes sucks the braincells out of otherwise well mannered people and deletes their "be nice" filters. I am appalled at some of the stuff I've heard, both in group chats and from people in general. In this coming holiday season, we need a little dose of kindness and gratefulness... So, THANK YOU t...

Its a good life.. that's my mantra for this week ;) This  basic soft cardigan from ::K:: helps me get that mojo going on, and when saw this at the Season's Story and I had to get it.
