  New to SL? Confused as to what to get to look good? Unsure where to go to get good sales?  It is not hard to look good in SL with a little bit know how and keeping an eye open for sales and events witch offer discounts. Flickr is a great place to see  various bloggers and designers and to see what is new and on sale.   In Second Life there is no shortage of sales and special weekend promotions from hair, to skins, to clothes, accessories, makeup etc. All you need to do to build yourself a cute and functional wardrobe for your avatar is to be in a few sales groups. My faves are Fifty Linden Fridays, The Saturday Sale, SoKawaiiSundays, and Happy Weekend by Access. You can find these in Seraphimsl.com .  Now, there are more sale groups and they are certainly worth checking out, but those are the ones where I find consistently the styles I like and some amazing deals.  You should also get yourself into your favorite designers in-world groups. Everyone that knows me knows I love taking photos in SL. I especially like it when they come easy, like this one. The clothes often make it so much easier when taking simple shots. This classic ensemble from Hudson's was such an easy to wear outfit that it made picture taking a snap, no pun intended.  I also liked the applier for the jeans.. easy to wear high boots with them. The sweater is mesh and the jeans are applier based, and the sweater comes with a texture changing HUD. Easy and simple. The rest of me is in my usual.. skin by Lara Hurley and hair by Truth using the Tumble head by Catwa.
