The rain fell in a slow but steady rhythm. The sound was soothing to her ever working brain. She closed her eyes and inhaled from the cigarette, feeling the hot, acrid taste of the smoke course into her lungs. She would never have to worry about dying from smoking at least, she thought ironically. A stake, or a sword.. or maybe a silver bullet.. but never smoking. She stubbed the cigarette on the bottom of her high heeled pink shoes. Her soft leather pants stretched over the curve of her well rounded bottom as she gracefully bent ever so slightly. Flicking her cigarette butt to the trashcan by the bar with deadly accuracy, her lips curved into a slight grin as she contemplated the feel of leather on skin. She felt her fangs at the ready, and she bit her lower lip as she looked out to the abandoned streets of the slums where she had sought refuge. A hunger stirred deep within her. She needed to feed, and her stash of synthetic blood had started to run low. Catching a glim...
