F*cking Ninjas has done it again with new poses that are awesome for so many types of photos...all you have o do is let your imagination soar :) this one, called Balance, is just one of a few poses she now has out, including one themed for St. Paddy's day.  Her work never disappoints and you will not regret going to her store in world. I promise! The top is quickly becoming one of my faves.. from SAKIDE, part of an outfit but so versatile I wear it with pretty much anything. Always get a demo because mesh can fit differently on different shapes. This one is from .love. shapes and it fits small to medium mesh sizes. And that hair! omg.. I loooove motion in hair and clothes for pics, and this hair is awesome for that.  It comes with built in laying poses, lovely in their own right, but I've discovered it also works with lots of other poses as well :) Go get you some inspiration! F*cking Ninjas has been one of my all time favorite pose maker for a few years in SL. Part of the reason I love her stuff so much is that she tends to include props in her poses, which makes taking a good pic much easier. The props can be mixed and matched and the poses are are really multipurpose. These new pole dancer poses are no different. Each one comes with a pole and a pose, and the pose alone too so you can use it in multiple ways.  I can't wait to try these in a new way, perhaps with out the pole even! I used to believe in heroes.. the kind that saved you from all the bad in the world. I'd like to think that I actually met a few, but.. in reality, the hero we all need to believe in is inside our own flawed selves. It took a while for Superman to come to terms with his hero self, and it may take a while for us to see the that in ourselves. The strength to change your world, to save you from your woes, to make the life you want is inside YOU. The heroes I thought were, are not. For anyone who has known my work from my prior flickr stream and now this current one, you will probably have noticed that I adore fantasy works, and draw inspiration from many sources. Lately, I've been drawn to darker themes. Those of loss, of longing, of looking for meaning, they all still play a big part of my work, but I am also fascinated with the idea of beauty and what people consider beautiful, and how often we are attracted to those things we are told maybe we shouldn't. But who is to say our darker fantasies are anything bad? I am certainly not perfect in how I express my thoughts, yet I think its worth exploring.. Once more inspired by my surroundings and my outfit. This lovely hair from Truth is just too sweet to take off. So, I was sitting here doing a photo, and I started thinking about all the work that goes into making it happen, and realized that it doesn't just start when I snap the pic, but rather, it happens from the minute I start to choose and outfit to wear on my avi, and indeed, the entire process of getting the avi to look ready for the pic. Often, if I am lucky, its a seamless process, and sometimes I don't really give much thought to what I am wearing. But, sometimes I do, as there is a specific look or feel I am going for. And, if it wasn't for the amazing creators out there who make these beautiful things, my avi would not be what it is. Ok, so the basic shape is something I created, but everything else is someone else's creations. From the hair to the skin to the clothes and piercing, my avatar is really a compilation of other people's creations made to enhance my avatar. Indeed, everything is SL is created by someone, and I would not be able to indulge my photo...
