So I know that shopping can be tough for newer folks in SL or those that don't have a lot of linden to spend but still want to look cute. Since it started, I have been a big fan of The Dressing Room. This is a really good way to try out new designs for not a lot of money, as well as find skins, clothes, shoes and poses from designers you may already know. If you don't frequent it, I suggest you go check it out.. definitely worth it ;)

Also, as i was shopping around, I found a cute little eye store called "by Snow" who carries some really lovely eyes for 15L! Really pretty eyes for not much money.. always a winner :)

And, as you already know from my prior blog posts, Sugar & Cyanide has announced it was closing. All in store is 80% off until January 1st.

Lastly, something I was glad I purchased that is certainly well worth the price is the JD My Feet tip toe mesh feet. They are lovely mesh feet with a color matching website, where various popular skins are listed, so you can just click and choose your skin and voila ! done :) Yes, I love Slink, but these are definitely a contender if you don' t have a lot of linden to spend. They also come withs socks! And, they do sell their own shoes that fit the feet as well, currently to be found both at TDR. *See pics below*

Sadly, one of my favorite designers has decided to close her doors.. Sugar & Cyanide is closing...  the creator currently has all her creations up for sale at her mainstore for 80% off until January 1st.
I always hate to see such talent go and it makes me a sad panda, but I know things in SL are not forever...
go check out her stuff while its still there! There are some amazing deals to be had including skins, shoes and a whole lotta cool mesh clothes.

Pour it Up

F*cking Ninjas has been one of my all time favorite pose maker for a few years in SL. Part of the reason I love her stuff so much is that she tends to include props in her poses, which makes taking a good pic much easier. The props can be mixed and matched and the poses are are really multipurpose. These new pole dancer poses are no different. Each one comes with a pole and a pose, and the pose alone too so you can use it in multiple ways.  I can't wait to try these in a new way, perhaps with out the pole even! If you haven't checked out her stuff, go do yourself a favor and see her store in world.

And, that hair! yes, it is as cool as it looks. From Argrace, its called Akane. The hair comes with a pose hud with five laying poses. It also comes with pose balls you can use if you so choose. Really cool idea and really cool hair, as well as versatile, as you can see :)

Deck the Halls and a Merry Christmas!

So I am behind on posting this as a blog pic but I didn't want to forget. I always have the hardest time doing a Christmas pic, and this year I just decided to go with the expected..: ) The cute little bows are from Ploom and they do come with a pose to use, but I realized that they really do work with a lot of poses in my inventory, so they are so versatile they can be used for various holidays too! a little whimsy..

I adore Christmas for many reasons, but one of them is also for the whimsical and lovely things that we can indulge in. Tis the season of lights, twinkling all around, and I can pretend they are fairies coming to light my way… I've been blessed with many things but my  amazing friends and loved ones are the best present one can get :) Don't forget to hug those you love and tell them you care about them, even if you haven't spoken to them in a while, or even if you think they don't want to hear it. You can never give too much love…

There are times when words simply cannot express the need, the loss, the sadness..the utter feeling of the heart as it beats with longing. Words have the power to define, to capture and hold, to captivate, to define. But, when we can't use words, there is only the pure emotion left, when our tears are only drops in the ocean. We can only hope that those whom we wish to convey this can see, feel, hear and perhaps understand what we are attempting, in the clumsy way that feelings often express themselves, and know that we are still there.. always there..

I was sooo happy to see this outfit at QE that when Emmikins gave me the bloggers pack I almost squealed for joy :) I am a sucker for RP, and RP pics, and anything that can make my whimsy look good in pixels. This cute dress comes with the hair.. Its a lovely little mesh number with a hood that just is easy to wear and simple. The dress has a color hud so you can change to your hearts content. Took me a few tries to get into the Arcade but its worth the wait.

Believe in Heroes...

I used to believe in heroes.. the kind that saved you from all the bad in the world. I'd like to think that I actually met a few, but.. in reality, the hero we all need to believe in is inside our own flawed selves. It took a while for Superman to come to terms with his hero self, and it may take a while for us to see the that in ourselves. The strength to change your world, to save you from your woes, to make the life you want is inside YOU. The heroes I thought were, are not. My hero is that pink haired ninja inside me, who, when pushed, will open up a can of whoopass if need be. :) I need to love that pink haired ninja.. unconditionally…

'Tis the Season…

Well, boys and girls, its that time of year again.. time to bring out our trees, our fireplaces and hot cocoa mugs.. hang the stockings and set out the gifts.. and.. for hunts! I am not an avid hunter, but, every once in a while I get lucky and do find some cute gifts definitely worth mentioning. This cute mesh corset and non-mesh pantie set is from Blacklace for the Candy Cane Hunt 5. If there is something a girl can use more is lingerie.. especially to ensure that.. ahem.. "Santa" fills your stocking with goodies!

I am definitely making a few wishes this Christmas.. and Santa already knows in which list I belong… *winks*

….always useful for decorating is.. lingerie! doesn't everyone trim their tree in their undies?
