This week has been tough for me. My brother and his family are in flood stricken Houston, Texas, where Hurricane Harvey has caused widespread destruction and horrible losses for so many. Thankfully, they were able to get out of their house and are safe. Their house was damaged but we believe still saveable. My heart aches for so many of the folks that have lost so much... it has been hard to concentrate on much this week. Between that and my recent back injury, I've been really emotionally drained this week. I will be taking a break until the weekend, but in the meantime, here are some goodies you can check out from Dulce Secrets and Alien Gizmo.  skin: Dulce Secrets, Jade Skin Catwa skin appliers, HUD for skin, Omega and Lelutka body appliers include Slink, Omega, Belleza and Maitreya @The Makeover Room outfit: Alien Gizmo , Melody Outfit in fits for Maitreya, Belleza, Slink, TMP, and Tonic in various colors hair: Truth eyes: LePunk lip applier: Sh...

"You once said I was as close to perfection as to be indistinguishable from it.." she said in a hushed tone. Her back was to him, her eyes fixed on the still, dark water beyond the decaying garden and mausoleum. She could sense him, sense his warmth, his humanity, so enticing... she closed her eyes and took a deep, steadying breath. Her pale skin nearly glowed in the moonlight. She knew he was staring at her, his eyes had not left her form since he arrived. His image was burned into her mind such that she never needed to see him really.. all she had to do was think of his deep dark skin, his broad shoulders, smooth wide lips, deep brown eyes, and her mind would call him forth, a perfect rendering of desire. He took a step forward, one hand reaching out. She spun around, her preternatural speed stopping him in his tracks. "don't", was all she said. One simple word, heavy with warning. Her eyes glowed, and her fangs bared just over her slightly parted lips. ...

Hunts are always a fun way to find some really cool new stores and designer that you may not know of, and on top of it for free! Womenstuff Hunt is an annual hunt in SL that has always had so many lovely items for the ladies that its really worth checking out. If you are new to the SL experience I'd highly reccommend doing a hunt or two.  I think its very generous of creators to participate in these hunts as they really are under no obligation to. And, the same goes for group gifts. I highly reccomend the next time you get a group gift from one of your groups, send a thank you note to the creator letting them know you appreciate it. I know most of them will appreciate knowing you like their gifts :) The items I am showcasing here are from Alien Gizmo, the top is for the Womenstuff Hunt and the skirt is their group gift. If you haven't heard of this designer be sure to check out more of their work in their store. See below for details. top: Alien Gizmos Marian top for Wom...
