"I'm your only hope, asshole" the cyborg-human girl the crew knew as Evie stated quietly as she stood in-front of the bridge, gun in hand, cigarette in another.  The scar across the right side of her face was fresh, the blood crusting over, but still glistening.  "You are a contradiction, you shouldn't exist" sneered the human soldier standing in front of her, his blaster leveled against her chest.
