I have taken a bit of break from my blogging, but in this break I've also had a chance to choose projects near and dear to my heart. I always believe that in community we have a healthy world, and by helping each other out, each member of our community benefits. That is why I like to support events whose proceeds go to charity and to helping others. This skin by Lumae is being sold at The Lexi Project fundraiser, which runs from July 26th and runs through August 6th.  The fundraiser is to aid Lexi Zelin who is the owner of AngelRed Couture. She has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma.. this event is to help raise funds for her to go towards her medical bills and expenses as she is unable to currently work. Lexi has played an important role in Second Life over the years as she has been the creator of both high quality full permission system templates and mesh templates for people to use for their own creations and has enabled many designers to open their own sto...

Happy Friday! Yay.. summer is finally here for my part of the world... and boy is it! We are having record heat in the Pacific Northwest.. flip flops, shorts and tank tops are everywhere. Iced tea and iced lattes... mmmm.. and of course, summertime lake visits and beachside parties. Can't get any better :)  In the spirit of the summer I wanted to show you LePunk's cute and uber sexy lacy bikini. I'm loving the color in white lately, but it comes in various colors. Mesh heads.. you either love them or hate them. I am somewhere in between.. I am currently wearing the Maitreya Mesh body, and have not taken it off for a while now. It took me a bit to get adjusted to wearing it. At first, I struggled to make things fit, and I had to keep adjusting my shape for various mesh clothes, even while using the alpha slices in the hud. I also was a bit sad that a lot of my clothing would no longer be worn.. but, in reality I had to grudgingly admit that it wouldn't be worn anyway, as I had started to embrace mesh clothing. The mesh body is so lovely to wear and photograph, that after a few weeks I was hooked.  Now, the heads.. are another story. I am very particular about faces, especially profiles. I have utmost respect for the creators of mesh heads, but I really have not adopted them yet. I will use my Lelutka Ever head for photos, but have not identified it as me. I have a bit of newness today. First, a new event for us fantasy lovers out there, running from the 5th to the 25th of each month.  The Alchemy brings you a lovely selection of awesome creations for all your fantasy needs. I was thrilled to hear that Lumae now is including appliers for the Lelutka mesh heads in all her skin packs going forward. I was lucky enough to preview this for her Adore line of skins. I'm in love! Mesh heads have limits as to how you can mod them, but with different skins they will look very unique and individual, and I simple was taken by how lovely this Lumae skin looks on the Ever Lelutka head.
