Lazy Sunday sweetness..

Yay! I have electricity restored now and can be back on.. the windstorms have died down temporarily but they are supped to be picking up again. I am hoping that no more power will be going out.... *crosses fingers* ... and now back to today's regularly scheduled post....

Lazy Sunday always bring some good deals. Participating creators will set out an item from their store for just 75L for the duration of the Sunday and some even will leave it up all week. Lumae will have her new skin, Niska, in Bare, all tones, for 75L each, and with included appliers as well until Sept 12th. Its truly a steal! I've posted both the skin on my avatar's default shape as well as on the LOGO Alex mesh head. You can see below for the image with the LOGO mesh head :)

And, we also have a gorgeous new release from IKON, the Triumph Eyes. Available at Shiny Shabby
and then after at the mainstore. IKON is my personal fave. I know that there are some really lovely eyes out there, but I am drawn back to IKON again and again when I am in world, and not just for pics. I find the depth in his eyes ,as well as the mix of colors, to be the most realistic. And, even when the colors are fantasy inspired, they are the most believable.

And, so far, I really have loved the look of the LOGO head.. the default skin is lovely, and the fact that you can change noses just made my day! I really liked the profile on this mesh head, as it was actually the most realistic of the ones I've seen so far. I've adopted the mesh body and bums and feet and hands, but I am still not 100% sold on mesh heads yet. I think its something that can be developed more and perhaps the technology will be such that at some point, we will be able to adjust the faces like we do the bodies and create a more unique look.

So up here where I live, we are having super severe windstorms and of course, with all the lovely trees come branches and with branches come downed power lines... sighs.. I had to go to grams house to finish this post! lols! Anyway, that means I will be offline for a few more days until the power company finishes restoring power. Perfectly Undone...

Good morning world... its a chill day.. easy waking up to get the day going. Made coffee, got some sweet treats, and now.. Just wondering, does he take his coffee with cream? Hmmm.....

hair: Catwa, Just woke up, mesh with bounce effect...really love this hair, perfectly undone and 

so easy to wear. I've been a fan of Catwa since she started, and I am so happy to see her work continue.

Also makes the undone look effortless. The clothes capture that perfect moment when things are barely on, almost off.. or barely there, with just enough hint of skin to make things heat up.

I modified it a bit with my Animare HUD, to turn my head a bit, but the entire series is really just perfect. The poses come with a coffee mug to use. Can't beat that.

to everything there is a season..

Ah.. summer's end is near.. we are still eating a few warm and sun-filled days here where we can spend time at the beach, soaking up the last few moments of that warmth before we grudgingly admit that the night air is getting chillier each day. I love summer, but, I also know that part of the appeal is that it doesn't last forever.  MoDanna has created a few chill weather essentials that are going to be part of The Vintage and Cool Fair, from August 21st to Sept. 4th.

This lovely and elegant Victorian Trench part of the [Bacall Collection] and its just a perfect transition piece for those chillier days coming up. And, yes.. its pink. :) There are other colors of course, and the classic black is perfect for our moodier days. Play with the look and mix and match. Its what I love about MoDANNA. of mermaid's dreams...

"The mermaid had wanted to learn more of  the world of man, and had been so curious as to break the surface to spy on the young maiden and her love, a handsome boy with dark hair and sparkling blue eyes.
Why do you love him? she asked the young maiden.
Because he tells me the loveliest things, and his smile makes me melt, and his hands are strong and warm.. and when he holds me, I feel peace and protected. Said the young maiden. 

And the mermaid was puzzled... But don't you feel that all inside yourself? Why do you need someone to make you feel that? 

And the girl laughed, thinking the mermaid a silly water spirit who knew nothing of true love. 
Silly creature! laughed the girl Don't you know that a girl's 'upposed to have boy?You are 'upposed to grow up and be his love and have him take care of you. I am going to run away with him soon.. 

And the mermaid thought about the words that the young girl said, as she wandered the wondrous oceans, free and wild, her laughter making bubbles sparkle in the filtering sunlight.  So, she followed the young maiden, and then, on the night that she was supposed to run away with her dark haired boy, she came upon the sheltering of the rocks by the darkened beach, and saw the girl crying. Tears were barely known to the mermaid, but she could feel the hurt of the young maiden.. Why do you cry?
Are you not leaving with your true love tonight? 

I was, said the young maiden, but he never showed up. He promised me he would love me forever, and would cherish and hold me... and he never showed up. 

And the mermaid struggled to understand that hurt.. and she felt for her sweet maiden girl. 
In my world, you don't need a boy to make you happy.. you are wild and free and happy everywhere you are, all on your own. I can take you with me.. 

And, as the story is told, the young maiden was never seen again. Some thought she left the town out of hurt of losing her young suitor, some thought she simply drowned. 

But, in the summer nights, when the moon hangs low, and the seas breezes bring the sounds of far away, the sailors swear they hear the tinkling of laughter filled with such happiness that even they want to dive in the dark waters to find it.. 

And no one sees the two lovely mermaids, in their sparkling scales, as they wander the wide oceans free and wild.. "

Perfection at 75L.... This is what I think of this skin! I missed posting this yesterday for Lazy Sunday, but it is still out at Lumae's Main store location, so you can still get yours. This is her new skin, Niska, and each tone is on sale for 75L, with all of her normally included appliers (mesh head anyone? ) as well as system layer eyelashes, etc.  The nose and the eyebrows on this one just are perfection....  go go now and get yours!

And, oh yea, you can get this shape on MP if you like it.. optimized for Maitreya Lara mesh body.  What that means is that I made it to look really good with the mesh body, but, if you don't own a mesh body you can use it too, you will just have to mod it a bit. Of course the face stays the same either way.. and its uber sweet soo...yea. See below, you know the drill...
