  New to SL? Confused as to what to get to look good? Unsure where to go to get good sales?  It is not hard to look good in SL with a little bit know how and keeping an eye open for sales and events witch offer discounts. Flickr is a great place to see  various bloggers and designers and to see what is new and on sale.   In Second Life there is no shortage of sales and special weekend promotions from hair, to skins, to clothes, accessories, makeup etc. All you need to do to build yourself a cute and functional wardrobe for your avatar is to be in a few sales groups. My faves are Fifty Linden Fridays, The Saturday Sale, SoKawaiiSundays, and Happy Weekend by Access. You can find these in Seraphimsl.com .  Now, there are more sale groups and they are certainly worth checking out, but those are the ones where I find consistently the styles I like and some amazing deals.  You should also get yourself into your favorite designers in-world groups. I just happened to go to pr!tty's maintsore to check out what was new, and I spied this hair ready for the Saturday Sale. I love the textures that she has out for her hair, and had to get it. This top, as well, was just a must-have from Blueberry. There were two options for color packs and I, of course, had to go with the one that had pink. I 'm a newcomer to the EvilBunny Blogger team, and hence did not get a chance to fully cover the Twe12ve event. It ends on November 30th, but you can still hurry to Twe12ve and pick up some goodies.. the dress by *LX* Essentials and the eyes by Banana Banshee are among the things you can pick up. Twe12ve has a mix of things, from decor to eyes to fashion, so be sure to check out the lovely creations. The hair is from Wasabi Pills , and as you know, I am a Fifty Linden Friday fan, and Wasabi Pills participates pretty regularly in it. If you haven't signed up for the group, you are missing out! This skin is from 7Deadly Skins , made with an Omega applier for the LAQ mesh heads, but because its Omega, it also will be able to work on heads that are Omega compatible, such as LOGO and Catwa. Sometimes skins which are Omega are not always the best fit, but I think this one fits really well with my Alice head.  In general the Omega made for LAQ fit well with the Catwa Alice mes...

Tameless is known for hair but they also do really cute complete looks, like this one here of a pretty sheath dress with stocking and  military boots (see image below). I loved the simplicity of the dress with that extra touch of the peek-a-boo heart shaped detail of the top.
