Fall delights...

The loveliness of fall is here.. chillier days and cocoa and fall leaves.. I always look forward to putting on my warm cozy sweaters and layering pieces in the Fall days. In SL I chose these pieces from Tashi and Loordes of London for my early Autumn stroll in my usual little hideaway, Hazardous. This is in support of Rock Your Rack, an event in support of raising money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.  This lovely dress was created by Posh Pixels exclusively for the event.  Below is the press release of Rock Your Rack... "Breast cancer is one of the leading health crises for women. 1 in 8 women, and an every increasing percentage of men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. There is currently no known cure for breast cancer, and its early diagnosis is critical to survival.

Models Giving Back is pleased to present Rock Your Rack, an annual fundraising event combining the best of SL Music and Fashion to support the work of breast cancer charities and raise awareness for early detection which is critical to a positive outcome for this devastating disease.

This year's event will support the National Breast Cancer Foundation which provides free mammograms, education, support and early detection services to anyone in need.

The 2015 event is on three sims and involves 64 designers including 4 Platinum Sponsors: Ever An' Angel, Lybra, PurpleMoon, and Sky.  Along with these designers, 5 Live Musical Artists, 1 dance team and 5 DJs will provide entertainment throughout the two week long Event.

Events during the fundraiser include 8 fashion shows, 6 live musical concerts, a performance by the Shadow's Silhouette Dancers, DJ dance parties, a 10L Hunt, Silent Auction areas, and more.  Designers will be providing exclusive creations with 100% of the sales of those items going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation along with a fine selection of the newest and most popular designs donating a percentage as well.

A photographer's dream...

As far as poses go, I have my faves for blogging and my faves for just plain story telling. Often they mix depending on the mood of the photograph or the story I am telling.

I know few pose makers, and  I also appreciate the effort put into making poses. Ironically, I've never tried my hand at making them, mostly because I am blessed to have friends and creators who make them for me soooo much better than I ever could :)

[Im.POSE.Able] is a new line of poses created by Truvane Kanya, a dear and sweet friend of mine, and I have been lucky to be the photographer for many of them. Often I am the tester for his poses, so I know they fit my avi perfectly well. He's been awesome to create some custom poses for me, and for that I am a lucky lucky girl.

His new store is opening in-world soon, and his Marketplace has been filling up with his stuff all ready for you to buy. Vineyard stroll...

 Happy Monday all.. today is a very fall day, hence my tones and colors I chose. I am happy to say I finally found a really cool set of tank tops for my Maitreya mesh body made by Happy Undead. I live in tank tops and hoodies and sweaters.. in SL too! A good layering piece is essential, and these tanks do it well.
