{Bounty Hunter} The Aftermath

She always wore red when she hunted. Of course it drew attention, but that was exactly what she wanted. No one would suspect a woman in a red jacket. She was too... conspicuous.
She knew her target, and had tracked him to a club in downtown Tokyo. But, she had apparently arrived too late. He lay wasted, a bullet through his right temple, by the entrance. The club was empty, and at this time of night, no signs of witnesses.
The Clan had arrived before her as she had feared.

But, this time, they had been skillful in their kill... no longer the brute force, but targeted skill. She licked the blood from her fangs from her prior kill and reached out with her vampiric senses. No, no brethren were around. She had to gather her thoughts and figure out her next steps. Smoothing her red jacket, she tucked her guns away and walked off into the dawning day.
