Fall.. time for falling leaves, brilliant oranges and yellows and chilly nights made for snuggling with that special person and holding mugs of hot cocoa as you watch the sun set. I love the changing of the seasons, and I especially like the darkening of the months, as I call it, when Mother Nature retreats to her dark cave, covers the land in silent snow and chill, and the Earth sleeps... until the Darkest Night.. ironically in Christian tradition, just a few days before Christmas. Sadly, in modern society there are fewer and fewer people that actually are in tune with the seasons, as we live in a society that can get anything they want 24/7, we miss out o the richness and uniqueness of each season. I say raise that mug of hot cocoa and salute the dying of the light.. go outside and step on crunchy leaves, taste the chill in the air and snuggle up in a cozy sweater. <3
